Designed by architect and furniture designer Ricardo Rangel, the Elza grill is a product by Deli&co that engages with the tradition of Brazilian modernist furniture design, celebrated for its blend of functionality, sophistication, and formal simplicity. Its visual identity reflects this modernist spirit through the use of geometric and straightforward typography, elemental forms, and, finally, the contrast between lines and surfaces.

Elza blends two authentic expressions of Brazilian culture: the ritual of barbecue and the legacy of modernism. By translating the visual language and materials of modernist furniture into an everyday object like the grill, the project creates a bridge between daily life and design.

Before and after
The grill design was created to capture the movement and fluidity so characteristic of the Deli&Co brand. a subtle touch of graphic design in Ricardo Rangel’s work :)
